Connected scales for food waste

Food waste as open data: I was entrusted with leading the implementation of smart, connected food waste scales in Södertälje Municipality. The project was carried out in collaboration with the nutrition unit at the Education Office and included pilot tests at two primary schools and the City Hall Restaurant. Smart scales automate the collection of data on food waste from the kitchen, serving and plates. This reduces both time and error margins compared to previous manual methods. The initiative has increased awareness of food waste and engaged staff, which not only saves resources and money, but also contributes to the municipality's climate goals. The data is also reported directly to the Swedish National Food Agency and offered as open data.

Public art commissions as open data

Public art as open data: From August 2023 to June 2024, I led the project to make public art available as open data in collaboration with the Art Hall, the Culture and Leisure Office and the Public Works Office. The aim was to increase access to the municipality's art treasure through digitization, which strengthens cultural heritage and creates opportunities for innovative services. By integrating the art in a new GIS layer in the municipality's web map, improved management and protection of the artworks in public works projects was ensured. In addition, an automatic publishing process has been implemented that updates open data on Sweden's national data portal on a daily basis. The project has resulted in increased data quality and accessibility, and created a stronger foundation for future digitization of cultural heritage.

T-talk speech to text, AI transcription: As project manager for a PTS-funded pilot study in AI and hearing, I led the feasibility study work with testers and user groups to develop an innovative speech-to-text transcription service. Together with the development team, we realized a solution that uses artificial intelligence to convert speech to text in real time, which creates new opportunities for communication and accessibility. Through a structured and iterative testing process, I collaborated with end users to identify key factors that improve both the technology and the user experience. We analyzed data from user tests and optimized the system's precision and functionality to ensure that the technology met real needs. The final solution, T-TALK, combines microphone technology, advanced audio management and neural networks to interpret and translate speech to text in seconds. This provides more opportunities to follow conversations in real time, remember important parts of a conversation and manage information more efficiently. The results of the feasibility study laid the foundation for continued development and a broader application of AI in hearing and communication aids.

Smart Blocks AI sensor, Digital Twin

Project Manager Smart Blocks: For two years, I was the project manager for Smart Blocks at Alfred Nobel Science Park, a project that aimed to create a smart neighborhood for older people. The goal was to offer better quality of life and security by implementing new open solutions for welfare technology, with a socio-technical focus that puts people at the center. The Smart Blocks project has used advanced artificial intelligence to improve the quality of life for older people. By integrating smart sensors and AI-based systems, we have been able to monitor and analyze health data in real time, which enables faster and more precise interventions when needed. These technologies have not only increased the safety of residents, but also optimized resource use and improved the overall quality of care. The AI researchers in the project also developed a 3D model of the neighborhood and built a digital twin of the neighborhood to collect data from movement patterns. At Örebro University's robotics lab, video analysis technology and smart AI sensors from the company Vinotion were tested. The purpose of this test was to analyze data and thus gain a deeper understanding of how the neighborhood is used and develop support for improved design and function.

Netmore Connectivity Node

Netmore, Tech Lead Connectivity Node: As Tech Lead, I was responsible for defining product lines and product plans for Netmore Connectivity Node. and Network Management System, for administration and monitoring. The work has been conducted in close collaboration with the sales and development organizations. Since several of the products were new, the work has largely been done from scratch. By actively leading the Product Management Forum, I have anchored the market's requirements for the products and, together with system developers, transformed these into realizable product functions. To ensure that the products meet the market's needs, I have performed product structuring, pricing and profitability analyses as part of my responsibilities. My assignment included communication with customers and analysis of the IoT market with a special focus on property technology. Together with the development team, we have implemented smart IoT sensors and AI-based systems for real-time monitoring and analysis, resulting in improved resource utilization and increased security in properties.

JNT Telecom, SIPazon. Business Analyst As a Business Analyst, I have managed the launch of the IoT platform SIPazon and the virtual doorphone VIRcom, focusing on market strategy, positioning and business development activities. The company has a secure hybrid cloud platform for IoT, where I worked on an establishment in the Nordic market. Through close cooperation with management, operations and production, I have worked on sales-driven activities and business development within Proptech and Smart City solutions. I have developed partner and supplier relationships, initiated and negotiated agreements and created long-term collaborations. My experience also includes marketing and launching doorphones and elevator communication systems. I have analyzed business requirements and translated them into strategic marketing initiatives, including digital marketing material, campaigns and customer activities. Through continuous follow-up of CRM systems, pricing structures and market analyses, I have contributed to increased visibility, sales growth and stronger market positioning for the SIP-based IoT services.
